You will study core computing topics like data analysis and software development. Additionally, you will gain knowledge in the business world, such as management, consulting, and IT operations. You will also gain broader capabilities that employers are looking for in IT professionals like teamwork and leadership.
We have strong relationships with industry. You will work on live briefs and be given the chance to complete an internship year. You will learn how a modern business uses IT, and you will be given the opportunity to design your own solutions to real-world issues.
Many students who have completed this course go on to jobs that require the combination of IT and business skills, such as a software developer or project manager. Others choose to work in a user-based sector, such as banks and insurance companies, or employ their IT and professional skills to start their own business. Some choose to work in the gray area between IT and business in positions such as IT security officer or consultant.
